چکیده
This is a review article concernning the development of a gas chromatographic analytical method for the analysis of 70 air toxic compounds. Not only the operating conditions, but also the column system is optimized. Optimization of the GC analytical methods for air toxic compounds is based on a unified method with a system comparising two columns. An optimization strategy with stepwise temperature programming has been used to achieve optimum separations. Two sets of usual GC instruments with specially developed software, Chromatogram Analyzer, have also been used for this

Gas turbines play an important role in supplying power for the country especially in peak electricity load. The main disadvantages are the turbines, they produce large changes are a result of climate change. However, in times of peak electricity grid and at the same time warm months, can produce gas turbines under the effect of ambient temperature, the amount of reduced considerably. The method...

The Lamiaceae family consists of a broad spectrum of medicinal plants involving Marrubium L. genus. Regarding the diverse pharmaceutical uses of the plants belonging to this genus, they can be considered as proper alternatives for chemical drugs having harmful effects. The present work aims to identify and characterize chemical compositions of the essential oils and volatiles from the aerial pa...

Background: When workplace air monitoring is not sufficient to determine the exposure levels, the determination of compounds and some metabolites in exhaled air and personal exposure levels is considered a practical method for biological monitoring. The aim of this study was to determine the relationship between the concentration of tetrachlorethylene in exhaled air and personal exposure levels...

Introduction & Objective: BTEX compounds (Benzene, Toluene, Ethylbenzene, Xylene iso-mers) are among the most consumed and dangerous volatile organic compounds which can cause adverse health effects in humans. The water pipe smoke contains numerous toxic compounds such as BTEX compounds. The aim of this study was to evaluate the personal exposure to BTEX compounds at traditional restaurants of H...
متن کاملRecent Advances in Microextraction Methods for Sampling and Analysis of Volatile Organic Compounds in Air: A Review
Human exposures to volatile organic compounds (VOCs) are associated with a wide range of health problems. Due to these adverse effects of VOCs on the human health, determination of trace levels of VOCs is very important for accurate assessment of indoor and outdoor exposure. Solid phase microextraction (SPME), needle trap device (NTD) and hollow fiber- liquid phase microextraction (HF-LPME) are...
